How frequently the calibration check for PTC9300H is needed? Like once in 5 years or once in 3 years or every year.
If you want to make sure the PTC-9300H to be within the high accuracy condition, we suggest you to calibrate this instrument once a year. If you just wish to keep it within standard error range, you can calibrate it once per 2 years.
We wish to inform you that we have received one no. HC3100 back from the customer to whom we have sold a year back for calibration. Hence we request you to kindly send us the calibration procedure as well as let us know how you calculated the error in the Voltage, Current and Power parameters.
Before sending this calibration sheets, we would like to confirm whether you have the standard source to calibrate HC 3100? Please the accuracy of this source should be 4 times higher than HC 3100. If you don't have this kind standard source, we suggest you to send this HC3100 back to HC for calibration in order to keep its accuracy.
How to transfer the data on to Excel Spreadsheet?
Please execute by following steps:
1. Startup Menu
2. Click on Microsoft Excel Icon
3. Go to the data list on upper tool bar
4. Select the "Data Import" on the list and then select "New Data Searching" to enter "Database Query" dialogue.
5. Then choose "MS Access Database"
6. Then you will see a dialogue which allow you to locate the demo 3000.mdb file
7. Now go to C:\program file\demo3000\demo3000.mdb
Whether the HC3100 has a built in error calculation facility?
Yes. On the HC3100E you have digital input and output sockets on the front panel, whether we can feed the output of the optical scanning head to the digital input of the HC3100 so that we can measure the energy error%. This facility is required for sensing optical output of static energy meters as well we rotor mark position for electromechanical energy meters. Also please let us know what will be the cost of the scanning head to perform such an operation.
What is the difference between Rolling Demand and Block Demand of HC 6600A?
Block Demand is certain of minutes for 1-15 minutes; it keeps calculating/processing until 15 minutes up, and then become zero to start over again. But when in 1-15 minutes of calculationg/processing, Rolling Demand keeps going for 15 minutes, but will continue to next minutes 2-16, then 3-17, and so on. The previous minutes will be deleted. It keeps rolling without stop within the 15 minutes.
Regarding to HC6600, What is the use of the user mapping?
It is a function you can use to narrow the parameters you would like to measure to save time. For example, you would like to measure Voltage, Power, Watts these 3 parameters, then you can choose the address for these 3 parameters, and type them into the column in user mapping screen. (Find the address in Instruction manual CD provided for you). Once it is done, then the data column will show the results. You only need to check the data column every time you want to find the results.
What if I want to add more functions in HC6000 PCTool software? Can I ask for modification?
Yes, we can help you to modify the PCTool software by adding in more function to meet your needs.
What if I can not stall the HC6000 software into the computer and error show up on the screen, cannot find source file D:\PROGRAM\\@Back.bmp
If you see file names under Setup1. ses or HC heading. Cab, please delete the files
Does distance affect the communication of HC6010? How do I set up the address?
Solution: Distance does not cause the communication problem. As you can see in the catalogue of communication wiring diagram, and that you can connect up to 32 devices and maximum to 4000 feet. Remember, you can only communicate RS232 one by one at time.
Before our model is ready to deliver, we would pre-set the address as 001 for testing. As result, you have to set up the address individually as in 001, 002 and so on.
What if I encounter HC6010 communication problem and showed up in CRC error using RS485/RS232 converter?
The transforming time is taking too long when transferring information into the computer. As result, when the RTS connecting to the computer in changing RX / TX pin is too slow than the standard time 30ms (which is set up in the meter), the our PCTool would show CRC error. You may change to either active RS232 / RS485 converter or change to automatic RS232 / RS485 converter
