Intelligent Maintenance Information System for Power Transformer

The Intelligent Maintenance Information System for Power Transformer is constructed as the picture shows below. The main parts are listed  below for your reference:

- Sensor: Tranfering the physical quantity to Analog signal or data, which includes termperature, humidity, pressure, voltage, electricity load, relay, oil gas content, oil water content ane etc.

- DTU: Collecting the running date of transformer as well as eviromental date at job site, the DTU equiped the abilities of AI, DI, DO, AC, and PQ.  For the communication interface, the DTU connects IMIS Node to report the date of job-site or accept the control commands; yet DTU also connect to intelligent analysor to read the results or data. 

- SMS: Supports msg sending. (optional)

- IMIS Node: Collecting, processing, and saving the date from DTU; and then upload the date by internet to IMIS server. For special event or accident, IMIS Node can be set to send the msg by SMS to notify the personel.

- IMIS Server: Processing all the information from IMS Node to analyze the health status of transformer. If a seriously abnormal is found, IMIS Server can set to send msg by SMS or EMail to personels. Also, the IMIS server supports  off-line data input and analyzation, for which users will be able to input the testing results or data into IMIS server for analyzation. 

- W/S: The user interface of IMIS-PT systerm to offer instant data searching and off-line data input.

The communication method can by choosen between on-line or off-line according to customes' budget.

- On-line: By Copper(RS-485, Ethernet, ADSL and etc.) or Optic Fiber(Single mode, multi-mode and etc). 

- Wireless: Short distance wireless communication such as Bule-Tooth, ZigBee, Wi-Fi and etc. And for long distance, user can use the mobile phone communication system such as the GSM/GPRS, 4G and etc.

 
Like a beating heart to power system, the power transformer is sending the power to all the facilities. The aging, abnormal or fault of transformer is not only stop the power supplying but also may cause the damage of power facilities. Therefore, it is a very important subject to keep transforments working propertly and collecting the related information in order to execute maintenences job.

As the great improvement of measuring technology nowaday, not only the basic measurements such as temperature/humidity/pressure/voltage/load, but also those important transformer life related measurements like air/water value in oil, partial discharging and etc, are able to measure and analyze instantly. This makes the prediction of life time of transformer is capable.

Also, within the support of internet, the status of transformer are able to be read in the control center, even if transformers are located hundreds of kilometers away.
